Legal Aid of Western Missouri

Legal Aid of Western Missouri is a non-profit law firm providing free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals across 32 counties. The organization turned to Design Ranch to update its brand strategy and visual identity. Operating for over 50 years, Legal Aid sought to update its brand to better convey its scope of legal services across employment, family, housing, consumer rights, and more while emphasizing its compassionate support to those in need. The goal was to develop a modern look and feel to capture the group’s spirit of securing justice and changing lives.

Design Ranch developed a complete identity system that embodies Legal Aid’s mission. We designed a modern logo featuring the scales of justice and created a library of photographs highlighting the communities they support. A clear “Justice for All” tagline and consistent visual style tie the brand together across different platforms. The clean and approachable design helps raise awareness of Legal Aid’s wide range of services. This strategic rebranding effort increased engagement, visibility, and access to legal assistance for underserved populations.
