Crafting a socially inspired brand with the launch of a socially inspired restaurant concept
Challenge
Parlor is an unconventional approach to the traditional food court, bringing some of Kansas City’s most desired eateries together under one roof. Located in the heart of the Crossroads neighborhood, it’s a place to gather and enjoy contemporary food and drink. For their opening, they tapped us to create an inviting, playful, and energetic brand to complement the fun experience customers would have.
Approach
Drawing inspiration from the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, we developed a brand that inspires culinary exploration. We created “Parlor Pat” as an illustrated character to engage patrons while evoking Parlor’s welcoming and friendly personality. Clever language, vibrant colors, and raw rock band-inspired posters entice patrons at every touchpoint.
