Spencer Museum
Inviting guests to see the Spencer Museum of Art in a fresh light
challenge
The Spencer Museum of Art approached Design Ranch for a pivotal project: designing invitations for the grand re-opening gala, Lux Naturalis, following extensive renovations. The challenge lay in capturing the essence of the museum’s transformation and introducing natural light into its redesigned space. Design Ranch was tasked with creating invitations that reflected the museum’s refreshed aesthetic and intrigued recipients, inviting them to experience the event from a fresh perspective.
approach
To meet The Spencer Museum’s challenge, Design Ranch took inspiration from the museum’s revitalized architecture and design ethos. Drawing on the concept of Lux Naturalis, or natural light, we crafted invitations that embodied the essence of transformation and illumination. Our design team employed unique processes and intricate details, combining interesting typography with a transparent holographic foil to create invitations that captivated recipients and prompted them to see the event and the museum in a new light. By infusing creativity and innovation into every aspect of the invitation design, Design Ranch successfully conveyed the excitement and rejuvenation surrounding The Spencer Museum’s grand re-opening gala.
